Bellinger River in Flood

Taken late this afternoon the water level has dropped a little, but I suspect that's because of the outgoing tide (the Bellinger River is tidal in Bellingen). The debris mid river is banked up against the side of the bridge which is normally used to cross this stream. The people standing on the other side are isolated from the main part of town. Many of them are visitors staying in the camping ground and finding conditions extremely challenging.
