Buzzards Bay 18 Herreshoff

The lovely Herreshoff Buzzards Bay 18 has been recreated for a modern era by Artisan Boatworks of Rockport, Maione -- here are Uncas, the first boat, and Besherte. Carefully strip planked and with a keel instead of a centreboard and carbon fibre mast, it keeps the aesthetics of wood and steamed frames, yet in a much lighter hull.
