Our church had a 3 day conference at H.I.M. and it was wonderful!! The towers have not been rebuilt yet. We satyed in rooms inside of Main Street USA over looking the street and the shops that are closed. The place is a shadow of its its former glory. It was still wonderful

Just got back from Heritage and they just put up a sign showing the towers and saying it will be an adult living community, it said coming soon but as of now there has not been any work on the towers. It still looks like the pictures show of it falling apart.

I hope they have done some work to it because it was looking pretty bad a few years back from the pix I saw.

Morningstar Ministries is awaiting engineer assessments as to the strength of the struture in the event of an earthquake. Then if all goes as planned this is going to be a "refirement" facility used to house the senior saints to refire their giftings and anointings to interact and impact the youth that will also be an integral part of the next great move of God. Hallelujah the land is being redeemed!

Hooped...in all due respect you are kind of off on your comments. The Towers...now..do have some infrastructure problems that MS is trying to see if they can fix. Then they are planning on openning as a "retirement center".

the towers are still there. I was told by Morning Star Ministries that they plan on fixing them and keeping it as rooms so guests can stay in.

The towers are being built for use as senior/nursing apartments, and some of the rest of the PTL property is being developed by a ministry that is not associated in any way with Jim Bakker, I grew up in Fort Mill in the late 80's and returned briefly a couple years ago--it was sad to see what this has become compared to what it was. Jim Bakker was not a crook, he was a man who lost sight of his original mission when his money and influence became too great. Money became as important to him as God, and because of his belief in the "prosperity gospel" (i.e., God rewards good Christians with money and wealth), he didn't see that he had strayed from his path, even as it was so obvious to everyone around him.

What a vision Jim Bakker had.. The tower I hear is now being finished and Heritage is going to re-open. Does this mean that PTL is making a come back.. What will Jan and Paul Crouch do??
