Ali, a very informative gallery. In 1969 (when I was a student) I spent 2 weeks in Iran (in January). Your winter photos of the mountain areas bring back memories. It was a long time ago, but I still remember how friendly the people were. I would love to return one day.

Ali this reminds me so much of some caves here along the Mississippi River called the Wabasha Street Caves. I will have to get a photo posted and let you know so you can have a look. I'll put a little information about them too when I do that.

The sidewalks look so interesting there! All the craftsmanship put into the tiles in the buildings and then the pavement that you show here in this picture are just amazing.
