Quasimellana eulogius

This common mellana is a regular stray to south Texas. One of the many various drab brown skippers that can be found in the area, here once again, it is nectaring at Eupatorium. For obvious reasons, blue mist is a very popular butterfly garden plant in the lower Rio Grande Valley.
