Clouded Skipper

Lerema accius

This clouded skipper is cheating the turk's cap flower (Malvaviscus sp.)by nectaring at it without pollinating it. You can see that the flower has not yet opened, but the skipper's proboscis or tongue is inserted through the side of the flower without delivering any pollen.
