Here's this years pictures of Black-necked Stilts taken at the North (Stiles) Treatment Plant or the South (Maxson) Treatment Plant. The north plant has about 100 birds scattered over the grounds and about 25-35 nests. This years high water in the pot hole field below the sludge pits was a bonaza for feeding early on this nesting cycle. The south plant has probably the same amount of birds and nests but scattered over a wider area.
