This beautiful lake is situated in northern Kenya in an area that is virtually desert.
Some years ago, I lived here with my eighteen-month old son Alan.
There were no shops to purchase groceries so we survived on fish from
the lake and bananas. With not much in the way of entertainment
we water-skied, keeping away from the crocodiles that inhabit the shores!
I have purposely kept this painting fairly simple because it is such an unspoilt,
untouched area that I want the viewer to enjoy the uncluttered beauty of Turkana.
