The creativity of this artist is based on incongruity. But you bring it to life by adding an abstracted human figure whose head seems to be an integral part of the design of the building itself. Nial brings up a good point about photographing somebody else's creativity, but I see nothing wrong with that if you bring your own point of view to bear on it. Just yesterday I was discussing this issue with my friend Tim May, who left his comment on one of my own images of somebody else's art. You can read my answer to him here: http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/46539584 What you did to this work of art by including that head, is very similar what I did to those sculptured works of art by including those reflections.

OK, strictly speaking this is about photographing someone else's creativity but I've still got to vote! And Gary's right, the woman is essential.

That person walking by is perfect. Makes the whole shot. Otherwise you'd never figure this out.

Nice art, good shot. The person gives it a sense of dimension, too.

This is really great. I love how part of it peels away to give the glimpse of another time.

Nice perspective on the old flatiron building.

Love the combo of the painted area
and the building plus the bystander.
