So many pleasing elements in this image...love the sky and the sun's reflection on the water. I also like the perspective, and the great depth, and fg detail. Well done! V.

The atmosphere is wonderful, but perhaps it might benefit from more emphasis on human values -- if one or two of those people were closer to the camera and a bit more defined, the image would have more of a humane touch. I sense a conflict in intentions here -- the scene itself is so warm and lovely, even nostalgic. Yet the people are overwhelmed by the scale of the scene. If you are trying to express the insignificance of people in the scheme of things, this image succeeds in terms of the scale incongruity involved. If, on the other hand, you were trying to tell a human story here, the people are too small to have any effect on the image except for being diminished.

The wide angle and the point of view work very well here. The light in the light post is an additional treat in this image. Superb!
