Quite an improvement. Less is usually more, and in this case, the vertical crop creates tension, pulling the drop towards the bottom.

A good exercise in concept, Jenene -- to see the world in a drop of water is incongruous, abstract, and can reflect human values. But you are including too much context in this image -- the eye is drawn to the softly focused twigs, multiple bubbles and even a softly focused leaf or pod. The part that you wanted to stress -- the large bubble in focus, must struggle for attention. If you just crop this image, you will see a striking difference. I will send you an example.
