I think maybe one of the reasons that Phil and I are friends is because we think/feel alike about so many images - (it helps that he seems to like my work and I never claim to have his depth of knowledge and insight) I would add that while this is about light, it is also about color - that rich red sings to me.

You move beyond description here, Jenene, by using light to express an idea. The tiny drop of dew shines like a star, and acquires precious status. It makes us think of nourishment, and life itself.
