Abell 1656

Abell 1656 also known as the Coma Cluster is a Galaxy Cluster in Coma Berenices. The prominent
elliptical galaxies near the center are NGC 4889 on the left and NGC 4874 on the right. The large
spiral NGC 4921 is on the far left in the frame. Taken May 7, 9, 10 and 11, 2012. Imaged with CCD
Lab’s Q285M camera and a C80ED at f7.5, on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. All subframes were 6 minutes
binned 1x1, resulting in the following total exposures L:R:G:B (min) = 252:60:60:60. Captured with
Nebulosity, calibrated, sigma combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE and
Photoshop CS. North is up.
