NGC 3227 spiral galaxy type SBa and NGC 3226 eliptical galaxy type E2 in Leo. The objects are also
identified as Arp 94. Taken Feb. 12, Feb. 28, Feb. 29, Mar. 02 and Mar. 03, 2008 with a DSI Pro II
and Outback Cooler on a C8NGT (8" Newtonian f5) operating at f7 for an effective focal length of
1400mm, and an ASGT mount. LRGB subframes were 4 minutes resulting in the following total exposures
L:R:G:B (min) = 308:100:100:88. Color balance was achieved via numerically scaled channels.
Captured with Envisage, calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using FITZ,
PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
