There is no place like home.
I know that Dorothy was from Kansas but what the heck. It is right next door!

This is my favorite spot within my home.
Great chair, nice light and books close at hand. This is one end of a bookcase that is ten feet tall and twenty feet long.

My 554 (and counting) works of photography are found here. I need you all to tell my wife that 3000 books is not excessive!
IN ORDER TO HEAD OFF A DIVORCE!

You're too funny! That does look like a perfect place - a great chair and light to enjoy all those photo books. I hope I do get the chance to actually meet up with you at your house some day to see that in person. A very nice image of it as well. ~BV~

I will be more than happy to tell her for you and send along photos of my 11 bookcases provided you explain to my wife that I am not insane nor a hoarder. Vote.

Pah, far too few books for a divorce. Just tell her how much you camera equipment cost...
But I love that chair, a great reading place with that high back.

Love this dreamy shot! As we have about the same number of books I can attest that 3,000 is not excessive!! Umberto Eco the writer had an entire apt. just to house his collection of books; he lived in another one! V
Frank Brault31-Aug-2016 02:06
A gorgeous atmospheric image. You have a heck of a collection of camera books. Explain to your wife that your collection can't be complete until you have at least one copy of every camera book ever written. V

That is a lot of books, Jeff! Looks like a great place to relax and read..
Neil Marcus30-Aug-2016 22:53
Based on the tones and look of this image it exudes comfort. When you own that many books I can judge that you will remain in this house. Moving and packing them would be...a bundle.
Say hello to Yvetta for me.
