Newsletter Centrespread.
I ask you to consider how believable this piece is. Convincing, right? Your opinions please.
It was created from the original newsletter art by importing it into Adobe Photoshop (PS)
from Adobe InDesign as flat art. Now, I could have just photographed it in the studio, but
I estimated that by the time I'd set up a lighting set to render it as above it would be
quicker to create it in PS.
Here's a quick rundown . . . I "cut" each panel, placed them on separate layers and distorted
them using the warp tool. The "rough hewn" timber surface came from my own personal
library of textures created in PS. Shadows and highlights were added and here it is, in 3D!
