The round trail begins on Schynige Platte and first leads to the Daube vantage point. It then continues on a secured ridge around the Oberberghorn, past marmot colonies and thousands of Alpine flowers to the Louchernhorn and back to the starting point.The starting point of this hike is located next to the restaurant just above the summit station leading to the Daube/Tuba lookout point. From there, you have a great view of Lake Brienz and Lake Thun and the Bernese Alps with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Continue on a secured mountain ridge past alpine rose bushes and limestone to the foot of the Oberberghorn. The trail leads back to Schynige Platte along a slope.There are colonies of marmots and thousands of alpine flowers on the route. A scenic and well-maintained ridge trail in the direction of the Loucherhorn. At Grätli, the trail takes a sharp right turn and almost doubles back on itself before passing the mountain huts at Oberberg on the way back to the starting point at the Schynige Platte Railway summit station.
