Casa Trias

In 1902, the lawyer Martí Trias i Domènech, Gaudí and Güell´s friend, acquired two adjacent parcels, the only ones to be sold. It was the architect who recommended the plots to Trias, for being in the higher zone (with good views guaranteed) and for being on a slope that meant that the garden could be accessed from different levels. Juli Batllevell (1864-1928) disciple of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, carried out the project in an eclectic style.

What a graceful building! Light and POV are excellent. I knew he had bought land there but just never saw the house. V.
