The Gate of the Justice was originally named Bib Xari’a (Gate of the Esplanade) and was built by Yusuf I (finished in 1348). In the 16th century it was known as Gate of the Court or of the Law.
This gate has a starting arc followed by an open space for its defence and an inner gate with a sculpture of the Virgin Mary and Child Jesus in its upper part. Afterwards there is an S-shape corridor where it has a little altarpiece.
