Umschlagplatz Monument

Warsaw, Poland

The Umschlagplatz was where the Warsaw Jews had to assemble and board the trains, which transported them to the death camp in Treblinka.
Beginning in July 1942, till April 1943, 300.000 of them were sent to Treblinka.

Thanks Jola for sharing.Warchau did also suffer very much. Fierce battles were there even just before the liberation.
