Once a residence of Persian regent Karim Khan Zand, this beautiful pavilion dating back to 1750, is set amid Unesco-listed gardens. The interior of the pavilion contains an intricate latticework and exquisite stained-glass windows.
It is dominated by the tallest wind catcher (badgir / بادگیر ) in Iran (and in the world) which is 34 meters high.
It is a traditional Persian architectural element to create natural air-conditioning system of houses in Iranian deserts.
