AUGUST 2013 CHALLENGE - CONNECTIONS

Today I have witnessed making of the movie in the street of Old Town. The title is "Miasto44" (City 44) and will be about Warsaw Uprising in August-October 1944.
It was 39 C (102 F) today and the young actors (all amateurs) had some tough time acting all covered with dirty clothes and painted in red for blood, among the burning timbers and clouds of dust and smoke.
But I was shivering feeling creeps, thinking of those brave boys and girls who fighted in real terms, back in August '44, when it was almost equally hot as today...

Beautiful composition and action shot. It is hard to think of the prices that are paid in lives all over the world for freedom.
