Pre-war Warsaw

Warsaw, Poland

Prozna Street is the sole surviving street from the Warsaw ghetto, where the pre-war architecture still exists in its original form.
The tenement houses were built between 1880 and 1900 and were once home to Warsaw’s thriving Jewish community.
It is now one of the very few remaining fragments of "Jewish Warsaw."

A lot of history there. I'm saddened by the treatment of the Jewish people during that time in history. I pray it never happens again. wonderful shot!

The height of the buildings seems to shut out the light... a moody scene.
