My parents came from those areas, and when I was younger, I used to ride my bike and explore old villages and churches - some in ruins, other still standing.
I enjoyed peaceful filling of the time passing. I had developed a great appreciation towards elders, their self reliance, stubborn simplicity of life, but incredibly rich cultural microcosm.
