Aerial SQUID

I have noticed before that the square crop format makes most use of PBase's 'large'
dimension. So when Gary Winters developed the
SQUare Image a Day concept I just had to join in - hope that's OK Gary!

This was taken a few weeks ago but processed today and is a view from my Oxford gallery
of the Park End Street traffic system near the railway station. The big building
on the right with its own courtyard is the Said Business School. On the opposite corner
with the tall chimney is the old Frank Cooper Oxford Jam factory!

Because central Oxford is comprised largely of pristine College buildings, the traffic
system is slow and inefficient. That's why there are so many Cyclists in Oxford!

Excellent aerial.

Ah the Jam factory. Is it still an antiques shop? I used to like rummaging through there. They even had a guy selling antique cameras! Nice b&w view by the way, and good luck with the SQUID!

Eek I hate heights, great shot though as seen between my fingers!

For a square guy, I really like your processing. ;-) Well done.

Now that you've done an aerial shot, I suppose you'll follow up with an underwater SQUID ;-)
Works very well in mono, and now I know where my Dad's favourite jam comes from!

Superb image - my weekday images are now taken from the bike on my way from or to work.

Square-tastic, the business school is huge!!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to SQUID!

Love the image, I was going to make a crack about you being up on the roof again with your camera, but I won't. Aerial photography is something I'd love to try sometime.

Also, the b&w is excellent here.
