20050828 Green Girl

So I've finished trying to take street candids in Oxford, and I'm on my way back to the car park.

Then I see this lady shopper posing awkwardly for a passer-by who is taking her photograph.

'So why have you gone green?', he asks. 'It's for a bet', she says as if it was obvious.

I run ahead of her and no more needs to be said, she is quite happy and now more comfortable to have her picture taken again.

We head in the same direction, except she goes into a cafe and orders a coffee! - is she so non-plussed? - or maybe it is part of the bet? What else will she have to do win the wager?

Very brave lady! It looks like she lost the bet! That green material doesn't look too safe? Maybe the aliens have landed after all and you have just photographed the 1st one, this shots worth a fortune!

You positioned yourself well for this one. The blue railing really adds to the composition. Must have been some serious wager :)

Where do you find these people?! You always have such interesting subjects that are either green, or have a thousand holes in their faces. I'm sooo jealous. This is a great candid, John...Kudos!
