Red Campion

Exactly one week ago we had 2 inches of rain in 6 hours.
This little plant on the riveside would have been 6 foot below the surface of a raging torrent.
Looks ok now.

In spite of the weather we have more wild flowers than ever this year.
The campion has even come in pale pink as well as red and white.
