Most of these images are taken in Pudong, the business district in Shanghai. In less then 20 years this area, located at the east bank of the river Huangpo, have been transformed from agricultural grounds and rice fields into an immense business district. The most famous buildings are the "Yin Mao Tower" (with the top looking like a bottle-opener) and the "Shanghai World Financial Center". With an urban population of more than 20 million people Shanghai is the biggest city in China. One certainty: the sky line of Pudong tomorrow, will be definetely different from today. The number of buildings in construction or planned to be built are numurous. !!! A few images have been taken in Beijing and Hong Kong.
