Flock of Starlings near Okehampton Army Camp

On winter evenings just after the sun has gone down
they come back here in their uncounted thousands to roost in
the copse behind the camp. This time it's a simple
'Question Mark' but often they will fill the sky with
the most amazing shapes.
Clear skies are needed to enjoy the spectacle of course.
