In the summertime a walk around this reservoir can very enjoyable.
It is a hike though with a steep flight of steps at the top end of the reservoir
descending to the valley floor where there is a bridge just before the lake starts.
Nevertheless the path to the place where this shot was taken (just before the steps)
is relatively easy. To get there, walk out of the car park, cross the road
and follow the path up into the field.
