2HorseBox KM5D

No contest here as far as colour is concerned. The KM DSLR cannot be be
bettered for it's colour abilities. One of the reasons why I was so sorry
to see them leave the marketplace.

Interesting comment. I haven't had any complaints about the calibration of my monitor, and I just sampled the original again for Curves. I'd agree the white point may be slightly off but the horse was actually more of this warm browny colour than the more chocolate-like take of the Fuji. (IOW about 5% less saturation). The dark green of the transporter is perhaps too dark green to match the real life colours. I suppose it is down to what one prefers. If I shoot in RAW then it matters less. John.

Interesting, your views regarding the color - this KM shot vs. the Fuji shot - as I feel just the opposite. I find the Fuji image to be much better color-wise. With a little post-processing I'd be quite pleased with it. This KM image on my calibrated monitor looks (to me) to have an incorrect white balance (too warm) and is over-saturated.
