We went to the Washington County fair today. I had never attended before, and I really enjoyed it. A number of people in the family had things in for judging. Patty hauled in a bunch of ribbons, as usual. She got two blues for her quilts. One thing I found out was that the main attraction seems to be food. There were an unbelievable number of food vendors there. As you might imagine, the FFA kids from all over the county were showing their livestock. There are lots of barns full of the critters. I am not a big livestock fan. I looked in some of the barns, and sure enough there were cows and pigs and horses and.... Ginny's parents manned the Tualatin Valley Garden Club booth for a couple of hours. I spent about an hour with one of the club members explaining how her digital camera works and getting all the settings right for her type of photography. So it was fun.

That sign sure doesn't leave much up for the imagination.
