My computer started making noise today, so I pulled off the side panel and found that the fan on the CPU heat sink was shot. I pulled it out and headed for EPO, the local electronics shop. They have all sorts of stuff for computers. I asked the guy if he had these fans and he said yes and took me to a box with about a hundred of them. I was out of there in no time having spent a total of $1.99 plus tax. EPO is a great place.

so you and Bloke still call it the old name, like my Mom calls Kroger "Heinke's"

It started out as Electronic Parts Outlet when it was across the street in the strip center. They used to have a Ham radio swap fest once a month in the parking lot, which was a lot of fun. I guess the renamed themselves when they built this store. It is still a great place to get stuff and just look around.

Only veterans of Clear Lake City will know that it is really called EPO and not Computer Electronics Etc.
