Boy did I get an unpleasant surprise this morning. I got to the hangar before sunrise and walked over to the refrigerator to get a coke. It was dark and I felt something soft cover my hand as I opened it. I flipped on the hangar light and saw that I had a zillion ants on my hand. These are fire ants, not to be trifled with! I brushed them off real quick and didn't get bit. The refrigerator was infested with the little ba$tards. They were packed into every nook and cranny. I went to the place that Bloke refuses to shop and got some ant spray and some Amdro and started to murder ants. When it looked like they were all dead or at least comatose, I hauled the refrigerator out to the hose and washed all the carcases out and soaped it down real good. After hauling it back to the hangar, I noticed a few ants on it and wondered where they came from. I got a screw driver and removed the top panel to find zillions more ants up there. I pulled it apart and lubed them devils up real good with some more Raid. I went around the hangar and found some more areas where ants were invading and treated those areas with Amdro. Hope that takes care of the problem.
