Day Eighteen
Today was a relocation day. We attended mass at St. Edwards in North Plains. That was the family church. After mass we had a chat with some of the cousins. Then it was off to Walgreens. Walgreens, you ask? Yes, Ginny selected about two dozen photos from the wedding yesterday and we got them printed at Walgreens. She also found a little plastic photo album at the Dollar Store. She put the photos into the album and we took it to her mom who was thrilled to get it. She couldn't attend the wedding, but the photos were the next best thing.
Then we headed to Grant's Pass. It was about a four hour drive. When we set out, the weather was clear and sunny. Approaching Grant's pass, it became smoky because of all the wildfires. Smoke in the air is not unususal in this part of the United States. Many times in the past we have had smoky conditions in the area.
Tomorrow is a big adventure with a rafting trip down the Rogue River. I pulled out my Canon D30 waterproof camera and got it ready. I have used it before, but mostly it sits dormant in the bottom of the auxilliary camera bag. Today's photo is of Ginny sitting in bed working on trip details and her diary.
