HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY

Today's photo is one I found on the internet. We didn't go anywhere on new year's eve. I can't even remember the last time we were able to stay up and ring in the new year. We had champagne on ice but never opened the bottle. As a matter of fact, I was asleep by 10pm. The one new years eve I will always remember was in the Soviet Union (Moscow, I think) back in about 1970 or so. During the good old cold war days. We went to a party that included a lot of Russians in some nice hotel ball room. There was an unlimited supply of vodka as I remember. I didn't drink too much, but those Russians really knew how to guzzle it down. So it was a lively party!

So now what to look forward to in the new year. A person could dwell on all sorts of negatives, but that ain't me. We are planning lots of traveling which I really like. Ginny is just getting started with that exercise. I know there will be a trip west and a trip east. Looks like at least four months total. We are starting the year with a month long trip to visit Richard, Christiane, Austin and Andrew up in Kennett Square, PA. I am really looking forward to that one.

So I encourage everyone to have a great year. That is mostly up to you and your own choices. Make the most of it.
