We spent the day hiking around in Acadia National Park. It was pretty crowded but we were able to find parking spots everywhere we wanted to go. Our first hike was along the shore. The weather was comfortable for hiking, but not so good for photography. We ended up at a spot where we could take the free shuttle bus back to our car. We hoped that Thunder Hole would be doing its thing, but no joy. The seas were just too flat.

We made a little hike up South Bubble Mountain to see the amazing glacial erratic at the top. This is the subject of today's photo. The big boulder was deposited here during the ice age which ended about 13,000 years ago which coincides with the onset of the Anthropogenic Global Climate Change Catastrophe (NOT!). In case you haven't gleaned from my posts over the years, I believe that the AGCCC is bullsh&t. Anyway, here is Ginny with the aforementioned glacial erratic. It is hard to believe that is has stayed there. Very cool.
