Project Day 68 - Exile Day 18 - We actually slept in a little bit on this Sunday morning. We went to mass last night before we headed out to the party. There was no construction going on at the house. Ginny went out in search of just the exact tiles she wanted to finish off the new double door installations and she found exactly what she wanted. Good job Ginny.

One of the objectives of the whole project is to reduce the clutter in the house. As mentioned before we have a couple favorite charities that we take stuff to. Ginny has been very diligent in documenting what we take over there. The best documentation is photos. She also writes a little inventory for each donation trip so we can keep track of the value of the donated goods. Today's photo is of some table linens destined for Interfaith Caring Ministries. We had a giant drawer full of various place mats and napkins. What she has found is that a bag full of these items is very heavy. She had figured once all the moving about of stuff to get out of the way of the construction project that she would have plenty of time to work on the decluttering project. So far, things seem to come up that need to be done for the remodeling project, so the decluttering has been slow. Maybe next week.

Photographic documentation is a good way for a pack rat to
hold onto something mentally while getting rid of it physically.
