We visited the West Virginia State Capitol today. That was number 41 for us. We decided to alter our itinerary a couple weeks ago because we were so close to Charleston. The building wasn't completed until 1932. That makes it a rather younger capitol building. We had a very nice tour. We were the only two people on the tour and our guide was quite humorous. It was definitely worth the quick trip. We looked but didn't find a whole lot that interested us in the area, so we were off to Mammoth Cave before lunch.
