We started out the day in Jefferson City, the capital of Missouri. It was a nice sunny day. We arrived for what we thought was going to be the first tour, but they said it was going to be an hour later. So it goes. We spent that hour walking around inside and taking pictures. There was also a nice museum in the capitol building. When our tour time started we headed out with a guide. It was a little bit disappointing because we didn't get to see the senate chamber. Also we spent way too much time looking at a mural in House lounge. Additionally, some state representative showed up and took the floor for a political rant which was boring as heck, especially since we don't give a hoot about Missouri politics. This was capitol number 39 in our quest to visit all of them.
