We had dinner this evening with college friends at Hell's Kitchen in Minneapolis. One of the things you can do is make your own bloody Mary. They sell you a shot of vodka and give you a glass. The rest is left to your imagination. I opted for standard tomato juice; although you can get a few different mixes which are hotter. So once you get your cup with the drink in it you cruise down what is really a buffet table. You pick stuff and put it on skewers and then adorn your drink with them. I chose lots of bacon as well as cheese, shrimp, pickles and other stuff that looked good at the time. The result, as you can see, was stupendous. Once you finish one of the monstrosities, you are not really very hungry any more. Ginny and I ended up ordering a salad as an entree and splitting it. We couldn't finish the salad. It came home in a go box.

This is the type of experience that is a great deal of fun. The darned thing was very good. A good time was had by all. The peasants rejoiced. Peace returned to the realm. Life is good. Once is enough, however.
