Our son Robert and his family are in town for a long weekend. This is the first trip of the grandchildren to Houston. We have been fortunate to be able to visit them quite a few times. One of the things that grandson Peyton wanted to see was the rocket park at Johnson Space Center. They have one of only three Saturn V rockets still in existence. This was the vehicle that took our astronauts to the moon. As you can see, Peyton is demonstrating that this is a really big piece of hardware.
We went on down to Kemah for a nice lunch and then walked around the boardwalk. On the way out we stopped at Rose's Seafood and picked up a couple pounds of nice shrimp which were converted to shrimp and grits for dinner.
