We broke up our trip from Jacksonville to Houston with a stay in Mobile, Alabama. We pass through this town fairly often, but never make a stop and have a look around. This time we took half the day and visited the Mobile Museum, Fort Conde and the Conde Charlotte Museum House. It was all very interesting and we were happy we got a chance to look around. We have to spend some more time here in the future, but we needed to get back to Houston, so we headed out on the highway a little after 1:00 and rolled into our house at 8:45. This was a short one as far as road trips go. It was very fun, though, because we got to see the kids and enjoy time with them.
