I decided that I was going to play around with DOF and focusing today. I went outside and set up a tripod and took a few shots with the 24-105 which is a f4 lens. Then I decided to get out the 24-70 which is a f2.8 lens to narrow down the DOF. Well, the darned thing would not focus. It kept hunting and never locked. That's the pits. So I called Canon and they said send it in. I wish it were under warranty. Anyway, I have always liked what I got with L series lenses. Just wish they didn't break down so often.

One more thing. Check this out for some real neat photography stuff:

I disavow any knowledge of said failure.

Can't afford it. I seem to remember that a certain agent who will remain nameless suffered a catastrophic failure of a Nikon camera body a few years back.

Maybe it's time to go over to "The Other Side" (Nikon).
