Ginny is in the airport. It must mean that we are heading out on the road again. We have been home for a little over a week. That is about the right amount of time to remind myself what home looks like, get the laundry done and enjoy a little relaxation. We had a great deal of fun on our Alaskan adventure, but there is little time for relaxation on our trips and some time at home helps to rejuvenate the body and soul for the next sojourn.
This time around it is a trip to Iceland for four weeks. I am very excited about this one because it is a driving trip and we can set our own schedule. Iceland is not a big place. The ring road is about 850 miles long. With four weeks to explore we are going to be able to see a lot of sights. It is supposed to be a land full of natural wonders. Getting there is not going to be a lot of fun because we have to make connections in Atlanta and New York. We do have a fair amount of time on the ground so we won't be running through terminals like we have had to do recently. That is not much fun. Especially Dallas/Fort Worth where we got to spend the night last week. DFW is probably the worst airport on Earth.
I will do my best to keep current with postings. Iceland is supposed to be one of the most "connected" places in the world. We shall see.
