Ginny has just about finished all our trip planning for the travel season this year. She is going to Oregon for her Mom's 90th birthday party in a week or so. I am not going (thankfully!). Then a week long driving trip to Atlanta for our grandson's birthday party. Then back to Houston for a quick turn around for almost six weeks in Alaska. Then home a short while and it is off to Iceland for a month. Then we head off to the Canadian Maritimes for a month. Gonna get back here just after Labor Day. I got to thinking that it would be cool to graphically lay out our adventures for the year. I started Binging (I don't google any more) and looking for something that would work. Well, no joy in Mudville today. I ended using some map program to print out a map. That didn't work too well, so I got what I wanted and took a screen shot and dropped it into Photoshop. Then I printed it and went down to the kitchen table and used a pencil to hand draw our travels. Almost finished....then I scanned that map and sucked it into Lightroom. And VOILA, here she be. Pretty crappy but it was fun. If anybody knows a good program or website for this endeavor, please let me know.
