We spent some time on the Oregon coast today before heading back to Portland. We went to Seaside. Ginny always wants to go out on the beach and touch the water. And so she did. As you can see, the beach is rather cold. Add rocks and you would have an English beach, I would think. It is a wide one here and the locals like to fly kites some and run around. Not a whole lot of people entering the surf. We headed back to Portland and had a great evening with Ginny's brother Joe and his wife Karen. It is hard to beat an evening of fried clams and pinochle. Life is good!
