We spent a lot of time today at the Buffalo Bill Center in Cody, Wyoming. There are actually five museums there, the best of which is the firearms museum. I spent four hours there going through the displays. I was thinking of John Cooper. He would have had a field day there. This photo today is Ginny's work. It is an equestrian statue of Buffalo Bill Cody at the museum. When we were ready to leave, Ginny got a chance to go horseback riding which she really enjoyed. In the evening we had a nice barbeque dinner and some really fantastic entertainment at the Cody Cattle Company. After that we went to the rodeo and really enjoyed that entertainment.
At this point we are 17 days into our 45 day road trip. We have about 2900 miles on the odometer and things are going great. I have found that certain aspects of this adventure get very routinized, like checking in and checking out of hotels. That is a good thing. Tomorrow we are off to Yellowstone Park. |
