We started the day with a quick trip to the Everglades visitor center to check some stuff out. Then it was off to Biscayne National Park for the rest of the day. We booked a boat ride out to Boca Chita Key and had a nice trip. This is Boca Chita Lighthouse which is not really a lighthouse. Some rich guy built it on his private island (at the time). On the way back the captain managed to hit a channel marker which busted up a ladder they use for snorkeling and scuba diving. "The sun got in my eyes." Yeah, sure.
