We started our annual vacation from our vacation today. We are going on a tour to central Oregon. Should be fun. We started out today with a long hike in Silver Falls state park. Yeah, we saw ten falls. The hike was about 9 miles. In some areas we went through woods with really big trees. I thought this view of a few really tall Douglas Firs was pretty interesting.

I don't think Douglas Firs are Christmas trees. Maybe blue spruce and scotch pine. I guess they were over 100 feet tall. hard to estimate.

Wow! Nice shot! These are the same trees that are sold as Christmas trees? How tall would you estimate?
